Sampurna

Sampurna Mukherjee is a doctoral candidate in Khmelinskaia lab, as a member of BIOHYBRITE Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network. She has explored various avenues of life sciences - from microbiology and zoology as an undergrad, and then falling in love with protein structure and function, and the opportunities to engineer them for the greater good.

Sampurna is interested in science communication through the medium of stand up and improv comedy, and likes to engage the creative part of her brain for music and cooking.
